We are also looking into food animal and equine topics.
For those working towards a specialty, we will be having VTS speakers so many lectures will qualify for your specialty CE requirements
Wet labs are included in the registration fee. They will be filled on a first come, first served basis. When you arrive at the registration desk you can request the wet lab that you want and as space allows you will be assigned to that lab.
Early registration for TARVT members is $80 and for non-TARVT members is $120.

Three pre-conference special sessions on Friday, March
26, are offered in partnership with local groups. Learn how
to launch and maintain a feral cat program at the Austin
Humane Society; operate a high-volume spay/neuter
clinic at Emancipet; or develop and manage creative
community programs at Town Lake Animal Center.
TVMA approved for veterinary technicians: 13.5 CEs (Must take all 9 workshops in vet track to receive credit)
Conference registration is only $150, but register before February 28, 2010 and save $25.

The Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Society (VECCS) in partnership with the American College of Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care (ACVECC) and the Academy of Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care (AVECCT) will conduct the 16th International Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Symposium (IVECCS ‘10) September 11-15, at the Grand Hyatt in San Antonio, Texas. The stuff (allergens) that people are allergic to in cats is a protein in cat saliva. When the cat grooms and the saliva dries it can become airborne. This protein is 1/3 the weight of ordinary house dust, so it can travel farther. You can find this allergen where cats have never been.
